First Steps

Tonight we were sitting out in our family room playing with Kaelyn like we always do before her bedtime. Scott was in front of her and she was standing along the couch. She must have wanted a toy that he had, because she suddenly stepped away from the couch and took THREE steps towards him!! :) She has taken a step here and a step there recently...but not three in a row! I know to some this might seem like a silly thing to get excited about...but as a parent it's a very big milestone!! We were cheering for her and couldn't believe that she had just taken three steps. I know some kids work on taking steps for quite a while before they actually walk....but it will be interesting to see how her walking progresses over the next month. The fact that she's showing more of an interest and more confidence is very good though! We'll keep you updated!
