Kaelyn's 1st Birthday Party

Today was a very special day....it was Kaelyn's 1st Birthday Party!! We have been planning this day for quite some time now...so to have it finally be here was very exciting! We had our parents and siblings over to help us celebrate Kaelyn turning 1 year old! Wow...that still is so surreal to me every time I hear it....we now have a 1 year old!! Crazy! It was a very fun day!! We got the place all decorated (her birthday was a Princess theme), had Kaelyn dressed up in a super-cute birthday girl/princess outfit, and had a beautiful cake made especially for this special day!

Kaelyn had so much fun having everyone here!! She was smiling from ear to ear almost the entire time! She received so many wonderful gifts...and had a blast opening them all. We thought she'd get distracted part way through or something, but she enjoyed tearing the wrapping paper off to see what was inside each and every one! :)

New Board Books...Kaelyn LOVES to read!!

She also LOVED eating cake and ice cream for the very first time! We thought she'd take a whole handful and eat it very quickly...however she kept taking little pieces between her fingers and eating it very slowly...very lady-like. :)hehe

I'm so glad we were able to celebrate with our families...as turning one is a big deal! It's hard to believe that her birthday has come and gone so quickly....but like always...I got lots of pictures so we can remember the events of this weekend always! :)
