Family Time

As with most weekends, this weekend kept us quite busy. We had no plans to go anywhere...but even when we're home it always seems there are things to get done. We knew we had lots to get done Saturday and Sunday, so Friday we made a point to have a "date night". Scott came home from work a good time, and we decided to sit down and watch a movie together. Life gets so busy we often let weeks go by without taking time to do things like this together. It was so nice, and was a wonderful beginning to a very busy weekend!

Saturday we had our routine things to do....clean the house, do the laundry, etc. It doesn't sound like much, but one job always turns into two, and two into three. The jobs around the house are neverending. It was still a nice day though...as any day home together as a family is great!! Sunday we went to church and took a trip up to Medford to find Kaelyn some new pjs. A couple of weeks ago we noticed she had a rash developing along with very dry skin. Thinking that it could be that she was getting too warm at night, we decided to go for 100% cotton jammies instead of the fleece. Within a couple of days of making this switch there was a huge improvement and the rash began to fade. We decided that she needed a couple new pairs of pjs, as many of her winter jammies are fleece. Thankfully Carters always has LOTS of great deals.....and we took advantage of them that day! While we were up there we also decided to check out Target. We ended up finding Kaelyn her Christmas shoes for her dress...as well as some shelving units for her playroom.

Unfortunately the weekend went by way too quickly and Monday is already upon us. All I can say is I'm already looking forward to the next weekend!! Family time is the best!
